Apple celebrates 30 years in business
April 3rd 2006 08:38
If it weren't for the apple falling on the heads of Apple's management and the second coming of Steve Jobs, the name Ipod would be synonymous with a UFO and not a phenomenon in the music industry. And the silver-finish and stylish line of notebooks that Apple dishes out frequently would not have existed. And most of all, the world would have been dull with only Microsoft releasing its Operating Systems when it feels that consumers have had enough with the looks of older versions.
After his come back in 1996 (11 years after his absence in Apple), the one-man knowledge bank, Steve Jobs, almost single-handedly orchestrated completely unconventional business strategies that fostered Apple's core values and talent base, not to mention even the loss of jobs. With an arsenal of coporations in his hand, including Pixar Animation studios (now part of Disney) and NeXT, Steve went on to become one of the most respected CEOs in modern times, for his wit, vision, and unbreakable self-motivation.
With Apple's bonded relationship with Intel, the company recently launched a new line-up of notebooks that aim to enhance their performance.
Good Job, Jobs. So what's next?
