Apple recycles

April 30th 2006 08:28

With every new purchase of a Macintosh system, Apple's prepared take back and recycle products for free.

More than 90 per cent of the company's electronic equipment has been collected and recycled since 2001, and it has been rated in the top 10 environmentally progressive companies.

Other companies such as HP and Dell have also moved towards environmental activites to reduce "e-waste" from the dumping of unused hardware.
