Apple's iProfit - a record increase of 41%

With iPod sales continuing to shatter Wall Street estimates of Apple's second-quarter profit, at 41%, the company also marked an increase in 4% of its Macintosh shipments. Analysts predict that Apple's share in the computer market will increase to 4%, from it's previous 3%, because of the recent switch to Intel Chips and the much delayed release of Microsoft's Windows Vista. Apple is already halfway through the transition from PowerPC chips to Intel chips and is expecting to complete it by the end of this year.
