Dating with Google Calendar
April 14th 2006 07:52
If you haven't tried the new Google Calendar, I suggest you take a few minutes to give it a shot. Easy-to-use, clean user interface that loads quick, and I just love the calendar sharing feature. Google Calendar allows you to add e-mail addresses of people whom you wish to share you calendar schedules with, particularly if they are public events.
The Quick Add feature is really awesome. It recognises the time that you have typed in a phrase (for example, "dinner at 6pm with Celine") and makes an entry in the 6pm time slot. The white interface fits very well with accustomed users of Gmail and those that don't want to spend time filling large forms to make simple entries into their calendars.
This new release is heating up competition with Microsoft and Yahoo, to see who the clear winner is. Well, that's left to us, the users, isn't it?
