Google Earthlink = WiFi in San Francisco
April 8th 2006 08:48
Google and Earthlink have finally won the bid to build a wireless network in San Francisco. Low speeds will be offered freely which can be used to quickly send an e-mail or perform other smaller tasks, while higher speeds are charged at US$ 20 per month.
This is just an incredible step to bring internet access more widespread. I just hope they establish such networks in the entire Sydney as well, instead of allocating specific hotspots.
