In-Flight WiFi: JetBlue Expands BetaBlue Service
June 11th 2008 07:31
In-Flight communication will soon become even easier. The BetaBlue service, introduced by QANTAS to the Australian market last year is set to be upgraded this year by JetBlue.
New innovations to combat initial consumer scepticism about the service include instant access to Gmail, AOL, Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger. You’ll be able to check in with your boss if your office uses Microsoft Exchange.
Sadly, even these changes won’t allow you to “surf” the web. But research released last year by the British Government actually shows that very few people surf the web. Most are inclined to be given access to information through search and email links.
